Obviously when you see your Frenchies everyday you don't always notice how quick they are growing till you take a look at pics taken few weeks/months earlier (didn't with Winston). However......... Hugo quite literally has turned into a mini tank over the last 2 weeks. He has lost his puppy softness from his face as his head seems to be changing shape everyday!!!! His 'shoulders' have bulked up and he is quite literally to heavy just to scoop up compared to last week!! His collar and harness which fit perfectly 2 weeks ago are going to have to go up a size. I think he may stand a little shorter than Winston but be bulkier in the chest, shoulders and head.
There has been a few tussles this week with Winston that haven't got out of hand but it does seem he is testing Winston. Winston sorted that out today and ran him ragged on the beach. Hugo may have more stamina running (with his longer nose) but doesn't have Winston's technique, Hugo uses all his energy dancing/running about like a boxer in the ring then Winston just flips him over in the sand, LOL.
Winston is a cool cucumber, Hugo is so impulsive and headstrong. On the beach today Winston will avoid waves, paddling at all costs. Hugo doesn't mind the water and loves chasing waves, wind, seagulls, crisp bags etc.
