Levon is a happy little 9-year-old who’s down on his luck. He was rescued by a Good Samaritan who found him living outside--his family kicked him to the curb once a new puppy arrived. All he’s looking for is a home, indoors.
You won’t regret it: this guy has charm to spare! He can be playful or a loafer. Levon loves hooves and doesn’t need any more toys than that. He’s a bit of an athlete (high jump seems to be his event) and he loves a good walk. He has no problem with other dogs, kids, or cats. Levon isn’t clingy; you can count on him to stay out of your way. He aims to please!
Other plusses: he is totally housebroken, not territorial and gentle as a lamb. He doesn’t take to a crate, but you can trust him to be left alone in the house.
Levon is pretty adaptable and could find himself in a house or apartment, although he does bark to let you know he wants something. After his ordeal, a bit of comfort is welcome.
And if you’re concerned about his age, you should know that he’s very much young at heart and in good health aside from some mild allergies. His foster family just adores him and would love to see him given a second chance.
