New member here. First time frenchie owner. ( what a ride). Anyways she is 16 months. She is spayed and just had her soft palate and stenotic nare surgery about 2.5 weeks ago. She has an ecollar and we give her a little trazadone the vet gave us but she is so so hard to keep her from rubbing her nose even with the collar on. Inside is ok but outside she is constantly going for bugs, sticks, grass, rocks etc… this causes her to cram her nose on the ground and has already been restiched. How do yall deal with this? She only goes out to potty but she usually has to look around, lunge towards a squirrel, bird etc… any advice?

Welcome to FBN…. Got yourself a true Frenchie…. Not much to stop her but staying right with her and stopping her when she starts rubbing.

I have a 3 year old that is the same exact way… every thing that moves must be attacked and face buried to get the deepest sniff. I carry a water bottle to spray him to lessen it
