Stella had a bit of a journey in her short 7 year life. She was such a fighter and lived life to it's fullest. Always up for a game of fetch, or chasing a bird made it difficult keeping her down when she had to recover from two separate spinal surgeries. This past January she had 2 seizures within a 24 hour period of time. A MRI (her 5th btw) revealed that she had a brain tumor in the center of her brain. We did everything we could for her but today we had to let her go. We did not want her to suffer. She is at peace now.

Oh, this breaks my heart! I followed her journey and as you know I’m very familiar with IVDD. I know you did everything you could for her. Rest In Peace my sweet, beautiful Stella. Hugs to you.

She was way too young! Once my husband and I knew she had a brain tumor we were prepared to not let her suffer. Thank you for your kind words.
