The main health concern for this girl is allergies. Although it hasnāt been pinpointed what exactly Wonder Woman is allergic to, her new family will have to continue to investigate this issue. She has had a food change, baths weekly, and medication daily. This has greatly improved her condition, but there is still a ways to go with the allergy issue. She has a bare backside from all of the scratching and her hair might start to grow back in, but that canāt be promised. It canāt be stressed enough that any potential forever family keep up with her allergy care.
The awesome news Wonder Woman gets along great with everyone! This includes cats, kids, and other animals. She hasnāt shown any fear or aggression with other animals that she meets at the beach or in the vet's office. She isnāt even bothered when other animals bark at her from behind the fence while sheās going on walks! She doesnāt even mind the kitten that loves to annoy her. This girl understands when you tell her no if she is heading toward a dog that is eating and is easily corrected.
Wonder Woman is pretty active considering her approximate 7 year old age. She has a nice high jump and can get a surge of energy when sheās outside. She never gets tired of walks and is grateful for any petting or attention that she gets. She has fuzzy bone-shaped chew toys that she loves!
Wonder Woman is potty trained and crate trained. She had a few accidents in the beginning adjusting to a new schedule, but as long as she can get outside she does great! She does have a couple of habits that will need work! She likes to jump up on people without being asked and might have a bit of separation anxiety as she becomes attached to her new family. It usually results in barking or whining when people get ready to leave the house.
A family that has a house with a yard would be ideal for Wonder Woman. This way she is free to explore the fenced in world of the outdoors that she so much enjoys. She doesnāt necessarily need to have other fur siblings but would love to have kids and a family that had someone home most of the day. First time Frenchie owners would be fine, but they need to be prepared to deal with her allergy issues, and we'll give preference to adopters with allergy experience. Tell us about your history with allergies in your application. Wonder Woman is a good candidate to go to the office with her human too. She doesnāt bark much and the only issue might be the jumping or scratching her itchies.
